Welcome to the official site of the Stooldom of New Sawereso-Seinuah!

This Stooldom, established in the late 1940s, predates the founding of the Republic of Ghana in 1960. The current Divisional Chief is the fifth ruler of the land. Located in south-central Ghana, HM Nana Agyemang Duah Ktakyie III strives to improve the quality of life for his people.

The Stooldom of New Sawereso-Seinuah has 11 communities with sub-Chiefs and sub-Queen Mothers (Adikrofuor and Adkiro Hemaafuor), all of whom report to HM Duah III. The Stooldom is part of the Asante Kingdom; the Paramount Chief is HRM Osahene Kweku Aterkyi II. The Asante Kingdom is headed by HM Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.
